Any chance of a
Forum Runner plugin for the site to make browsing from iPhones and Android phones easier?
just what I need. I already spend too much time on the forum, this is just going to mean i know exactly what is going all the time! minus_t - please look at this
I second^wthird (due to be ninja'd by marcus) this request!

This would be pretty cool, for some reason I can't log into the current forums from my Android phone, although I can view them fine.
I've used a couple of these on my forums with iOS devices but not seen an android one yet. Supporting both is pretty nifty, first one I've seen that does that.
Hmm, I'll look into this.
Or you can all just get a Blackberry and browse the forum as normal.

Ish: Blackberry Henchman

It's perfectly possible to browse on the HTC Desire, as I'm sure it is on the iPhone. But there's a lot of zooming in and out and it's not ideal for a small screen.
I've been using Forum Runner on the Platoon Britannica site and it really is very easy. Manages subscribed/watched threads and has a nice RSS-style latest comments view. Essentially it compresses the layout and content into one that's better suited for a handheld device.
Opera Mini on BB does almost all of that for you.
Just kidding though, this sounds good, I like the way some wordpress sites have mobile browsing option too. It would be a great addition.
This is a conversation for people with expensive phones, isn't it?
And for people like me, who pretend that they know what they are talking about. Yes.
Does it have a IS OTT port?
Forum Runner sounds like a Dwarf you employ to run back and forth to a real PC and type up you posts

The only issue I have with the forum when posting from my phone is that it doesnt post if I go through the reply screen - only the quick reply box ?????
Although I recon thats due to upload speed :\

That, in my opinion is over the top.
