Hi all

The Mayhem tournament has been officially set for the weekend 23rd - 24th May.

Same format as the last tournament (1750 and 6 games) except that there is now also marking based on army lists - Fluff list get more points as beardy lists will be penalised .

I’ll bring some rules pack down to club tomorrow night .

Cost is £100 per team of 5 or £25 each for smaller teams . There is limited spaces so teams need to be set up as soon as possible

We need to defend our crown and definitely need to get club t-shirts done as well -any ideas on a design?

Im very interested, will have to thouroughly skim the new rules before writing my army list.

For the club shirt i vote a cruusading symbol with croos gaming club emblazoned across the front.


thats the fourth time topday ive manged to use the word Emblazoned. im doing well Smile
I'm up for mayhem.

though I roll too many 1's to defend our clubs honour I can put forward a very well painted warhost. With some fluff!

On a side note, the composition score is totally broken. My Tyranid army (admittedly not a friendly and fluffy list) receives 19 penalty points. A Nob Biker Army of doom receives 3 penalty points - better than many fluffy themed armies!

This is really encouraging people to take Nob Bikers!
Unfortunately Filippo is correct.

But I reckon the organisers will look at the army lists in advance and may rule on this later on - in any case I'm in.
with faith in the emperor my army loses only 4 points. anyone else taking gaurd or marines?
I'm going to have a look at making up some designs for a t-shirt, and getting some prices, today.
Hopefully I'll get a post up later.

Hi All

Mike at Mayhem is holding 10 spots for us -but we need to get the teams and cash to him soon

So far we have for definite:

Filippo
Alex
Luke
Jon H
Scrimmers
Jainer
Dave L (can you confirm if you can go re wedding!)

Chris Barrass has also expressed an interest (can you please confirm Chris) so two spots remain - will be first come first served basis .

There may be room for a third team but only if we can get the payment ASAP to the organisers to hold the spots for us, so if there are others interested let me know as soon as you can

I have exams start on monday 25th may until friday so its a no go for me!

Sharans exams finish the week before but i dont know if hes free that weekend! Will get back to you on that.
