I don't think I can join the fun on Tuesday as I have to do my Necromunda campaign action before running away to watch my beloved Gooners beat Barcelona.

Np mate,
Question to all: Which is better for you, the 6th or the 13th?

The 13th as the 6th is my sons birthday however if the general direction is the 6th I'm sure hel have other birthdays and won't mind of I leave to come down for the late session

Tut tut. Missing your son's bday for gaming. *shakes head*
13th for me as I should be back by then!

Not really missing it as he's only 3 and should be in bed by time I leave for late session. Plus he loves the minis to so he'd understand lol.

I am up for the intro game, should have my models by then but wayland games is being slow. Should add up to 50 points.

'He'd understand.'
classic!Chris, I see that that the date is not fixed yet but my question is, would you run the intro in both early and late sessions, or only one of them? If both, would it be several separate little games, or just one big show?

Looks like the 13th is better for most so we'll go with that for now.
I'm hoping to recruit Luke, Jon Luke, Marcus, Andre and Mig to provide experienced opponents to run lots of small games for anyone who wants to try.
I'll bring a couple of squads which people can use if they don't have models atm.
That then leaves me to float about and help where needed
I'm hoping to get two tables and we can run two games simultaneously on a table so we should be able to fit in plenty of small games across both sessions (plus at 50 pts we should be able to get 2 games in per session) & currently thinking about a fun little scenario we can use for peoples second.

Only joshing ya Bill
I'm sure he will be coming down with you when he is old enough!
I know my little lad is going to get 'encouraged' to play wargames lol, though I have a little longer to wait as he is only 6 months old lol
hmmm... If this thing is going to be on the 13th there is still a chance (though it is remote) that I could feasibly get myself a warband together in time. All depends on how quick wayland are to dispatch my order... so probably going to have to borrow.
Mind you I might want to watch the games to see how each faction plays out as I still haven't fully decided on which faction to go for. Still looking like Nomads are most likely.

Thanks, this clears it up. It sounds like a lot of fun, I wouldn't want to miss it!

Andre/Ish
Thanks for the game last night I really enjoyed it.
Very cat and mouse and a lot of fun!
Highlights for me would have to be:
Frustrating Hit and run from the Fusiler (Then hunted down like the dog he was by the Dao Fei)
Hac Tao’s trap on the Lt which nearly went pear shaped as he injured himself chasing the slippery bugger around a building
The central minefield of death!
Hacker battles
And finally your hacker giving up his life to lock down the Hac Tao for the Croc man to finish off.
Great stuff
and to be honest, with my Hac Tao down I'm not sure which way it would have gone if we had played it to the end.

Yeah, was a great game! Highs and lows in short sequence.
Apologies again to Ish, I should have never been so bold with my Lt.
And consequently this poor chap stepped into Hac Tao's trap...
Think this was the beginning of the end.

Cheers guys, it was good fun!

Thanks for the game you two too.
I did enjoy it very much, I do like the balance in the game that even a plain fusilier could run and shoot back with chance to make damage on a Dao Fei, and survive for a few more rounds.
Don't say that Andre, it wasn't a mistake, the idea just wasn't supported well enough from my side. I had my medic there next to your Lt, could have run with it for a bit of patching up and extra firepower/reactions. I'd rather say that we both made some steps too early in the game and remained too defensive with the second line. Also, we should have moved the ORC troop back into cover before we made a new lt.
But as Chris said there was great synergy in the end where you shut down the hac tao while I sneaked up on him with the croc man.
In future I'll probably run more light infantry troops in pairs/trios so they can be more supportive and I can make more use of my heavies.
