That's awesome man. Good to have another Dark Angels and Warriors of Chaos player at the club, my personal favourite GW armies. What's OG by the way? Big Grin
OG is OG Games, they do delivery orders to clubs, and run a club down in wandsworth.
Ahh wow, I never knew there was another club in east London. I thought it was only Tanelorn. I'll investigate. Big Grin

Wandsworth is in south west London!

There's also the pheonix games club in East (Gringo, that's right, the side drivers sit in cars in the UK) London. They sometimes do tabletop, but do a shedload of rpg's, board games and some ccg's. Thursday evenings, the Black Lion, Plaistow
Cheers Pete, though Plaistow is too far east for me to commute. Sad
Lo all.

I made a post saying hi here but I figured I'd introduce myself in here too.

My name's Cal and I'm living in Camden at the moment. Finished my masters degree last year and now I'm bumming around doing oddjobs until I can find something decent - gives me lots of time to paint!

Been playing 40k and WFB for 4 or 5 years now. I have a decent-sized Sisters of Battle force and about 6000 points of Eldar (Ulthwe!). For WFB I have a massive horde of Skaven, and also a 2000pt Khorne Daemon army that I painted but never played. I also have a Necromunda gang I painted for fun that is also yet to see a game table, but I would love to get into it.

Anyways, I'll likely be dropping into the club next Tuesday, so see you then! Big Grin

see you soon
Hi everyone !

My name is Alex and I come from France. I'll study in London for one year, so I'll surely try to play some games in your club as often it will be possible.
I used to play Confrotation and warmachine, but now I focus on my Tau army for 40k and seriously consider to start a lizardmen army as soon as the warhammer version will be released.

However, I already tried to go to St Christopher Inn last tuesday, but the waiter told me there wasn't any gaming club meeting on tuesday in the pub. So, there is only two possibilties: either I went in the wrong or the guy was new and unaware of the activities in the pub. I hope everything will be right next week.

See you then!
Confrontation! woot! Which edition? C3? Also which army? The Kelt Drunes? They were my favorite! Also which Warmachine army did you play? We got players of all sorts of systems at the Club. Big Grin

There are two pub's with St Christopher in the name. There is one that's sort of further down from London Bridge station and one opposite the Chicken Cottage. We're opposite Chicken Cottage. Big Grin

121 Borough High Street, London SE1 1NP‎. That's the address if you need to find it. Big Grin

Cheers and see you soon.

I've heard that there might be a similarly named pub nearby? Although I've not seen it.
We were there on Tuesday alright, if it's the right pub it's a long thin pub with a restaurant/eating area at the back as you walk through. Halfway toward that there is a set of stairs to a basement and we are in there.
The pub itself is right between London Bridge and Borough tube stations, from London Bridge just turn left on the main road, stay on the left side of the pavement and follow the main road all the way down until after about 5 mins walking you see it on your left.
Look forward to seeing you down there! Not played Tau for a while so would always be up for a challenge from you Smile
Not got enough models to play confrontation (alas), but it was quality! Shame about Rackham.
I played confrontation from C1 to C3, with Alahan, Mid-nor and Drunes. And for Warmachine it was Cygnar.
For the Tau army, I've bringing it yet in London. I think I'll do this as soon as I'll be back in Paris for a week end. Then it will be ok for the challenge.
Thank you for your advice to find the pub, and hope to see you both there tomorrow.
Hmm.. 18 pages of people... Forgive me if I don't go through all of them Smile

I'm Graeme and I wandered by the club earlier this evening, so thanks for the friendly welcome! I'm a bit behind in my gaming, but I have been tinkering with my Guard and Tau armies for ages now. Looking forward to actually playing with them Smile

Largely restricted to 40k but I do have a BFG fleet and a Tau/eldar hybrid Epic army. Oh, and Necromunda as well, although I appear to have mislaid my models for that!

Anyway. I'm not about next week, but hopefully I'll be able to get some gaming started in a couple of weeks time.
Welcome Graeme, love the armies, some really impressive conversions there. When you want to come down just head on over to that weeks challenge thread and post up the game you want
Hi Flinty, sajuuk & Cal. Welcome to the club, hope to see you down and gaming soon.
Hi I'm Usman,

Mainly play Fantasy but looking to start Hordes/Warmachine (looking at Circle at the moment).

I'd considor myself a tournament Fantasy player but I do play fluffy lists when I play at clubs (Ironically I keep my cheesier lists for my friends Wink).

I've popped down a few times and definatly like what I see of the club. Will definatly start coming down and playing games more often once I settle down in work.

I've got a Lizardman army which is what I mainly play with but also just finishing off my Wood Elf army. I've also got some space marines and may start playing more 40K if fantasy 8th edition turns out horrible.

Well that's me anyway, look forward to meeting you all and having a chat about wargaming in general.

Usman
Welcome to the club, dude.
A quick Hi for all the guys who have pitched up since I last posted here.
Look forward to seeing you all down t' pub Smile
Hi,

I'm Justin. I've been into the miniatures since the Rogue Trader days, but have been out of the hobby for a while (playing rpgs and boardgames instead). Have been doing some painting and collecting (40K, WM/H, Malifaux) of late, but haven't actually played a minis game in about the last 5 years. In any case, I'm looking to get back into it now, probably with a view to having a go at a skirmish level game such as Malifaux (once I've got my Guild minis painted up in the next couple of weeks) or Mordheim just to ease myself back in. The Tale of X Gamers also sounds interesting, as I'm intrigued by WFB 8th ed. I'm going to try and pop along tomorrow night to introduce myself and take a look at what you guys are up to. Hope to see you then.
