Hi all,

I'm looking at joining in with a Menoth list and was just wondering how competative the followign would be at 350 / in MkII

High reclaimer - caster
repenter - light jack
revenger - light jack
crusader - heavy jack
temple flameguard - unit of 6

Cheers for any input.

--- looking at getting the battle group box, the high relciamer and a unit box of flameguard
The High Reclaimer is all about infantry and arc nodes.
When I say infantry, I mean specifically at least one unit of zealots (cheapish, easy to kill infantry, with a solid, short range attack), and probably something a little more hard hitting (exemplars, bastions etc etc).
Menoth have 2 arc nodes available, the light Revenger, and the heavy Guardian.
Backed up by a selection of solos (Paladins of the Wall, Wracks and Exemplar Seneschals), you should be all spangly.

Of course, this is simply a suggestion, lists tend to be a lot less important in WM/Hordes than they do in 40k.
While a very synergistic list will definitely help out a lot, as will knowing how it works together, you can do just as well by picking up the stuff you like and sticking it on a table...

of course, what Tom doesn't want to tell you about Zealots is their mandatory unit attachment (Wink) makes them invincible for a turn and gives them +4 arm if one model dies. He sucks...

I was about to say that the reclaimer is all about the inf, but tom beat me to the punch. Amon-Ad-Raza or Reznik are good jack casters, if a little odd. You looking for a beat stick or a magic caster? That makes a diff with the Menite filth...

Your inf are all pretty feeble, but as they start to die, they get better and better. Plus a lot of them can be brought back to life by casters etc. Your faction theme is holy fire, so you can set a lot of things on fire or turn them to ash clouds. This tends to ruin people's days

The main inf themes are either peasant rabble driven by zeal, the Flame Guard (who protect all the temples) or the Knight Exemplar who are a brotherhood of holy warriors who bulk each other up through their deaths. All three themes are easily fielded in focused armies now.

Menoth has the only plastic models in the game to date, but more are on their way. They are nice.
Ok cheers guys...... <goes off to think>
