OK guys, I am going to run the Summer Rampage for you all as requested.
The problem I have currently is that I am on holiday as of this Friday and won't b back until the day the rampage starts. Doh!
Still, onwards ever upwards.
The other issue is the rampage website has not gone live yet! Great.

hopefully it will go live soon and we can get the ball rolling.
I suggest people go onto the various faction forums for their choice of faction and get chatting to people about battle plans and so forth.
Summer Rampage is a map based global campaign where players will be fighting for honour but also deciding the release order for their faction books (so you are all working for Cryx now ok!)
IIRC, you will need to register with the PP event log. I need to clarify this and will post as soon as I know.
As far as I know at this stage there is no cost but this may change due to prize issues. I believe there are three medals awarded per club/store running events.
Sorry its all a bit vague at this stage, without the website I know as much as you.
Check the latest NQM (25) for all the details known so far.
Hope people are keen to get onboard and looking forward to going forward with this event.

But I'll also be available to run Summer Rampage this coming Tuesday. I'll come down with all my odds and ends (Including terrain to donate to the club, handouts and campaign specific terrain.)
Tom, you will be thouroughly impressed by the the mayhem that will unfold. Seriously, this is gonna be hilarious. The last time I ran a Summer Rampage people were absolutely hammering each other and having a good laugh.

Just a quick glance through it all and will keep you guys posted on it. I'll be printing off Map specific terrain tomorrow and getting report sheets printed. Also I will be bringing my laptop along so I have the rules and Maps available for people.
The site still isn't up. Now we got two options for this, as we won't be able to pick locations based on Global Priority.
Option 1: Fight irrespective of priority and then hold onto the results until the site goes live. Then upload the results, and also locations fought over are picked by the players having the game.
Option 2: We play friendlies and next week we start the Summer Rampage proper. Using this week to get stoked.

I reckon 2 as it gives me time to appropriate the photocopier at work and sort all the rules out.
If folks want to play tonight they can and we will sort the results out later, but it gets a bit iffy until then.
Will talk it out when we get there. PP is the late session anyway.

Excellent. I'll get the basic stuff printed and if you could photocopy the sheets a few times, it would be cushty. In fact use the terrain when you run it at Tanelorn.
I may be being dumb, but where can I see the priorities etc of the day?
The page with the rules pdfs on seems to be pretty empty of extra info, and the accounts site (or whatever it is) seems bafflingly laid out, at least to me...

If you wish to book a Summer Rampage game next week, follow the outlines set by Tom but if you could also state your faction and the territory you wish to invade. I will randomly generate your map for you and post it up in the challenge thread.
So the sequence goes:
1) Grab an opponent, and by that I mean call them out!
2) Pick the size of game: 500, 750 , 1000+ (Not recommended)
2) Check your faction priority and the player with the higher priority at the time of posting will choose territory.
3) I will roll your scenario and map, which I will provide for you in the thread and will arrive with terrain.
4) Fight!
5) I will record the results on my laptop or on the fight slips I will handout.
Here's an example of a game that has been matched up will look like:
Players: BizzaroGringo (Cryx) vs. Gringo (Khador)
Size of Game: 500
Territory: Thornwood Forest
Scenario: Integrated Assault
Map:
20
Global Effect:
Trench Foot
The venue account has now been verified and the Summer Rampage details are now up.
Good news is we can use it to run Monpoc events too so we can start those if interest picks up.

Righty-ho guys. I'm all signed up for this event now. Yes after a long absence the Skorne will be back next week.
So... clue me in. Am I looking for an opponent as usual or do I need to have pre-booked a game the week before?
