Ordered my first minis for infinity last night from maelstrom. Hopefully I receive them soon and I can get building and painting. I have decided to go for ariadna and am starting with the following:
starterbox with 3 line kazaks, veteran kazak, 3rd highlander grey and a chassier(spelling?)
dog warrior
tank hunter with autocannon (what an amazing model)
1st highlander sas
this gives me 219pts. What is the standard game size played at the club?
I also need to decide on a colour scheme. Should I go black/midnight blue or an autumn camo with oranges, reds, browns and blacks?
What is everyone else getting?

Guess, 150 would be enough for the first couple of games. Maybe 200, but this would be the max.
Colourwise your second scheme sounds more like the one I had in mind for my Haqqislam
I would go for the black/blue , maybe additionally some white for the Ariadne. Personal taste, I reckon... up to you.
Myself I am not quite sure how to paint my guys... First I thought something along the line of camo, very sand and earth tones. a little bit orange ( my preferred colour).
But just a few days ago I saw a Haqqislam force in a more urban, manga stil colour scheme... liked that as well. Mmmhhh.... not sure yet.

Yo guys, I go to Portsmouth this sunday to pick up my things. I will bring back the rulebooks and models.
Darn, I am not down on tuesday so I will have to wait even longer to get hold of those bits off you Vish! How are you going to paint your minis?
Dunno, probably Khaki for my dudes. No problem man, I can drop them to you during the along with the rulebook if you want as I'm free next week.
The kharki does suit the haqqislam, though I saw the urban one your talking about Andre and it looks very cool. I still can'take a decision about mine. I guess I will have to do a test scheme to see what works best.
I got my models down from Portsmouth so I'll definitely join in.
