Hmm,

Ok, this came up in a game a few weeks ago, and I couldn't find a satisfactory explanation in the rules anywhere: how do psychic shooting attacks work? Do you roll the psychic test, then if that's successful, roll again on the Psyker's ballistic skill? Or does the successful roll against LD also count as the roll to hit?

Can any of you GW boffins clarify?

It depends on the power, but generally you need to roll to hit after passing the psychic test.

You generally roll on the BS but some powers ask you just to pick your target (like mind worm and mind war) whereas others like blast weapons (eldritch storm) scatter as per normal rules.
