Hey all, it's been awhile since I've been down for a game being summer and all, but I was hoping you guys could give me some advice. I'm heading back home to Australia tomorrow night for a good mates wedding and I want to bring along my not so trusty slaanesh marines so I can get in a few games with my mates back home.. My dilema is this.. Am I better off sticking them in my cargo hold luggage in a gw carry case and risk them getting smashed around by unruly baggage handlers in London hong kong and melboure, or do I take them in my tactical carry bag in a gw case as my carry on luggage? Will I be ok getting through security with them? Got a couple of metal conponents and two brass rods for weapon arms..? Has anyone flown internationally with their army? Any help or advice greatly appreciated..

I'll be down for a few games in the next few months.

Cheers
I've taken a army to brasil and as long as it is in a carry case they are fine, llooks like a laptop bag, I would carry it as hand luggage.
I've done this lots of times w/ my 15mm historicals and always have taken them as hand luggage. Expect them to ask you to open your case and show them what's inside. I believe it's the metal components that set it off. Don't send them on cargo unless you have a hard suitcase and then you still need padding. I've seen baggage handlers throw bags around as if they were sacks of potatoes...
thanks for the advice guys, gonna take them in the cabbin with me.. not that keen on getting there and spending a day gluing everything back together.. as long as i know i can get them on board im happy.

thanks again.
