Well, it's a new year and all the wonderful plans to play Bloodbowl over christmas failed (for me at least) and so I'm kicking this year off with a match againt Pete and his orcs on Friday.
Who's about next tuesday? 12th January 2010 for those not yet caught up with the year.
I'll be there to play and sort stuff. Looking forward to getting back to gaming.

It's true. his gutter runner had to go for it once, on the very last turn to score, and cacked over. I don't feel as much sympathy as i should though, as he also scored as my thrower, on his own passed the ball, fumbled, and same gutter runner just picked it up and walked to the touchdown. (I also got a interception so shouldn't feel that cheated though, as that was drive changing and nothing short of lucky.)

Right, I know we've been a bit lax lately, I've tried chasing up the missing players, but they're rubbish.
Thomas has dropped out as he is now commited to Kendo on Tuesday evenings, so I'll figure out how we'll do that - could just remove his results from the table (leaving those who have played him a game down but with a bit more team experience).
Jason is being rubbish and not texted back but I'll ring him this week and have words.
Adam has not been heard from since christmas as far as I know, he's not replied to texts or PM's. Anyone with any news . . . ?

So possible opponenets for Jason are: Adam (if he appears!), Luke, Tim and Alex.
I'll text alex so consider the first session booked for a game between Jason and Alex.
This week I shall also start asking people for money towards prizes, and sorting out a date for when we can have a "final" event.
Look forward to getting some games in again! As always I'm available for friendlies, since I've already played all my league games

OK, I've finally talked with Adam (who is not dead!) and he is unable to attend the club for a few more weeks, therefore unfortunately I've had to drop him from the league as well. This will hopefully allow the rest of us to finish our games and play more bloodbowl soon.
I'll sort a new league table and look forward tos eeing a bloodbowl game actually happening on tuesday.

Unfortunately I've now removed our two dropped players as well. The league table is updated mostly, just got to recount touchdowns and casualties having removed two players.
People need to get their games finished off:
Chris needs to play Alex and Pete.
Jason needs to play Luke and Tim.
Pete just needs to play Chris.
Alex needs to play Tim and Chris.
Tim needs to play Luke, Alex and Jason!
Luke needs to play Tim and Jason.
Poke Tim.

This fell apart a little during the Necromunda as we lost a number of players to that, but I shall certainly whip everyone into a new league at some time soon!

Maybe it would be an idea to have events not coincide with others, but rather than run long campaigns, keep them short and sweet? Give me a heads up next time you think about running a league because I would be up for it, I always loved blood bowl back in the day and it's been years since I've played (don't remember how lol). All the teams GW sell are sooo expensive. Might buy a team from another range...

I'm thinking next league I might run as a shorter tournament style thing, only last a few weeks so as not to cross with other events and people can play other games too.
Also, I've got an old metal dwarf team (painted but battered) if you want to borrow them, also check out impact miniatures (
http://www.impactminiatures.com/) as they do some nice teams.
Good to see bloodbowl going, if you run a league count my lizzies in.
