In order to keep the desired prizes how much would league coaches be willing to pay towards them?
Please vote in the poll ONLY if you are involved in the Bloodbowl League. Thanks. - This was meant for those such as John Snape. PLEASE DON'T VOTE UNLESS YOU'RE INVOLVED IN THE LEAGUE.
Charing Cross Blood Bowl League 2009/10
EDIT*: Starting again with these - Jason is online as Droidlock.
Due to impatience (Mine mostly) going to change the rigid ordering of games: People are allowed to play anyone they havn't yet played at any time. PLEASE try to make sure you are on a similar number of games as this will make each game more fun.(And easier for me to figure out what's going on
)
Due to my laziness, games results will now only be posted into the pic of the league table at the bottom of this post.
Rules:
The League will consist of 9 teams.
Each team will play each other team once. After this each team will play two games against those teams closest to themselves in League Points (always versus two separate opponents). The League will then End on a “Final” event playoff.
The League shall be using LRB 6.
Each Round will consist of each team taking part in 2 games to be played within a 4 week period. - See Edit above.
A game will be considered forfeit if a Coach fails to appear to a scheduled game without at least 24 hours notice (or a damned good excuse) or decides to withdraw from a match during the first 12 turns.
Being forced to Forfeit a game due to lack of players does not incur the following penalties.
Forfeiting a match will result in NO MVP being awarded and 0 league points being awarded to the forfeiting team.
Failing to play both of your allocated games within the 4 week period, without an accepted and universal extension of said time period, will result in you acquiring -1 league points as long as the game is completed within 1 week of the allotted period ending. After this both Coaches will be considered to have forfeited the game.
If a coach requests an extension for a Round the extension will be available to all Coaches. However, everyone must do their very best to attempt to recover the lost time within the next Round.
Cheating is an acceptable part of this game. However, this only includes on pitch manipulation and illegal procedures may be called following the LRB 6 rules.
Cheating in respect to your teams abilities and skills is NOT acceptable and will result in the current game’s final score being modified so that the cheating team loses by 2 touchdowns. In addition to this your previous victory – if you have one – will be modified to show a 1 touchdown loss.
These touchdown modifications will affect your total number of touchdowns, but NOT your oppositions.
A win will be awarded with 3 League points. A draw will be awarded with 2 League points and a loss with 1 League point.
There will be a bonus of 20000gp for a team that scores 4 MORE touchdowns than their opponent during a game.
There will be a bonus of 20000gp for a team that causes 4 MORE casualties than their opponent during a game.
Best Painted Competition shall be judged during Round 4 of the League. Teams need to be completely painted and legal (at least 11 players and the correct numbers of each player) by the beginning of Round 4 to be entered into the competition.
“Fluff” competition shall be judged during Round 4. Each Coach should write a small background and story for their team – no more than 400 words.
At the end of the League prizes will be awarded for:
Overall Winner – Coach who has the most League Points.
The following Prize Category is to be removed, you want to win? Aim for the top!Runner Up – Coach with second most League Points.
Most Touchdowns – Coach whose team scored the most Touchdowns.
Most Casualties – Coach whose team caused the most Casualties.
As Suggested by Tim the following two prize categories shall be amalgamated into a single category:
Best “Fluff” – Coach who has the best background and storyline for their team, as voted by the Coaches.
Best Painted – Coach who has the best painted team, as voted by the Coaches.[attachment=75][attachment=75][attachment=75][attachment=75][attachment=75]
