OK guys, we've been thinking about various things the Club might want to produce with a logo on...
Which of these would you be interested in?
And what kind of price do you think you would be happy to pay?

Please reply as well as voting in the poll, the more information we can gather, the better!

-Tom.

PS. The Cross GC logo looks a little like this:

I would love templates and dice. I am not sure I would bother wearing clothing, but this might be different with the 40k tournement teams.
Black dice with the iron cross for a six appeal to my humorous/dark side... but that's just me Wink

Club T-Shirts for tourney weekends etc might be a good idea too, although I am not sure what the tourney attendance is like for Charing X.
I'd buy a t-shirt, definitely, as long as it actually fit unlike the tents that GW manufacture. I prefer the second of the two logos, personally.
Jon's dice idea is quite good as well, actually.
T-shirts would be great for those attending touneys in the name of CGC. Theres a stall in Covent garden that'll sell t-shirts for £12 a pop, so maybe we would be able to get them cheaper than that.

I really like the idea of templates as I have to rely on everyone else to bring them. (the only reason I didn't vote for dice is that I have too many, although...)
ooo, Other clothing! , I want club boxers! that will impress the ladies!!
but Ill settle for the T-Shirt, Don't know what cost price is ect for small print runs but Id pay £10-£15 gladly. As for dice I think it would be cool but as an ork player I wont be replacing the 150+ dice I often need!
Templates would be awesome but I fear expensive, If you did one Id recommend a TAC template as it covers many systems.
I'd certainly have templates, probably not dice (after all, we'd all have the same as each other!).
Personally I'd love a short sleeved black collared shirt with back and/or breast pocket logos, but would definitely have a T-shirt as second best.
And a twin KR-size leather army case.
And a thong.
I'd love to have the dice, and a t-shirt for tournaments.

And I'd like to second the army-case idea, if we could get that going it'd be great.

CGC. Going where no wargamer has gone before.
That logo is fantastic. I want a t-shirt with it on. Reminds me of a logo I saw on a WW2 documentary. I like it. Big Grin
I like the T-Shirt as well. Logo is excellent, nice work Mr T.
The 'Cross Gaming Club' note is important on a Tee imo, but not yet convinced by the choice of font though.
I just found this on the interweb:

I know simon from a while back and he runs some great tournements. I was checking out the website and he has got a very cool shirt. I know I would definitely not buy a normal t-shirt, but if it was something cool like this then I would be up for having one. It just looks like a good shirt without it been a tournie shirt.
Yeah, I think I'll try and rejig the logotype a little.
It was pretty rushed.

Those shirts are pretty cool Marcus, I wonder if we can get something similar maybe...

-Tom.
They'd be pretty expensive, though, no? Perhaps prohibitively.
SHIT MARCUS, YOU KNOW SIMON? DOGSHIT. I KNOW SIMON TOO. :O

Small world. Big Grin

Yeah, we did a Tale of 8 gamers on Warseer (though it might have been portent back then) together, and then I went to a couple of tournies. He's a nice guy. Haven't spoken to him in a few years though! Now that you mention it, he is based down in portsmouth, so I am not surprised you know him.
I like those t-shirts, they remind me of a bowling shirt my brother ruined. I would agree with Tim if that is the going price.
Are you aware of programmable embroidery sewing machines? You create a file on pc software from a standard image file, load the machine with the colours of thread required, place your item under the foot, then hit play.
A club promoter friend of mine just used one of these to create individual shirts for different sized people, with the club logo and a personalised name underneath each, plus a selection of other items. The machine belonged to a self-employed tailor, who charges on a per-item basis.
As such, no large print runs, and no flaking cheap paint!
I will enquire about who, where, how much; if practical, I could collect a load of garments of choice (preferably new, no unwashed rags please), get a file from Tom, and ta-da! Nick can have is CGC gimp mask.
Anyone interested, and Tom, would you release the logo/rights?
Had a dream last night where I was carrying my gaming case around and it had a big CGC sticker on it's side. I only stuck it there to fool the CIA (which worked).

Just another idea for club stuff...
Do we have these club items now or are we still planning? The ideas look great~
