Full Version: Monsterpocalypse tournament - Birmingham Beatdown

  • 28th of November at Waylands Forge in Birmingham
  • Registration is free though the store would appreciate it if everyone plying would spend some money in the store. I'll try and make sure that they have a good selection of monpoc boosters.
  • Prizes are a Mega Manticon for first place and glass units for players who preregister
  • Play starts at 12 noon - but you'll need to be there a little before to submit a list etc as I expect dice to start rolling at 12.
  • Format will be single list, submitted at the start of the tourney (I'll have pens and paper for those who forget). 1 monster (+ hyper form), 15 units, 12 buildings.

Seems like a laid back tournament and a good opportunity to meet and play some other UK monpoc'ers. I'm definitely going, anybody else want to come too?

I don't have a car so train is really the only option. Last time I checked it was about £20 return if bought in advance. I'm up for splitting petrol costs if needs be.
Have you seen the change the format dude? Not sure I'm in on this now Sad

There's been no change of format, check the TO's explanation below:
Quote:It is 100% constructed. Privateer seem to have seen fit to dictate tourney types for each kit. I can't alter the official website but am ignoring the and running it as constructed. I've tried to put a note on the tourney page to say this but it doesn't seem very obvious.

Sorry for the confusion.
Can't find the event listed on the Waylands event page to pre reg (I'd like my glass unit)

Can anyone point out my error?
Me and Jon took the first two spots. Go Charing Cross! Imagine if we played this game down at the club how good we'd be!
Or was Jon playing for Tanelorn on that day ;-)
