Well, I have been a bit slack of late and it is high time I post this up...

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Luke, Marcus and Jon Luke onto the committee.
This brings us back up to full strength and I hope you will all join me in welcoming them to the position and thanking them for agreeing to help out.
Feel free to harass them about all kinds of club stuff that matters to you and we will be looking to put them to work on a couple of club projects we are currently developing behind the scenes. Tongue

Cheers,
Chris

Congrats, guys!
Eh, by the way, who is currently in the committee?
Filippo still in? Michael?
Tom quit I suppose?
Thank you very much Chris and the rest of the commitee. I am really looking forward to getting stuff going and doing new and interesting things with the club.

Most of you know me, but for those who don't, I am the tall bloke with a pony tail and goatee. I play most game systems, and dabble in anything new normally. I have been playing for longer than I care to remember, mainly GW, but I have branched out in the last 5 years. I have beastmen, Chaos Space Marines, IG, Khador, Ariadna, Skaven Bloodbowl team and a Goliath gang.

Even though I play all systems, I mainly get involved in Warmachine and Hordes, so if people have questions or ideas for the club regarding these systems then I am probably the go to guy (though a bunch of the other commitee members play). I will be looking to do some fun stuff in this area in 2010. If anyone has any questions or needs any help then feel free to PM, email, post or just chat to me at the club and we will see what we can sort out.
Chris, Filippo, Luke, Jon Luke, Marcus and Nick (me Smile) now make up the Committee.

Tom has indeed had to leave for pastures new and glossy. Michael is technically still on the Committee; however, as he is missing in action learning to be a loathsome blood-sucking leach upon the a$$-tumour of humanity (aka trainee lawyer) and rarely down, he is more an honorary member than anything else. PS we miss you, monkey.

May I also take this opportunity to welcome the new guys, and to mention for the record that I damn well expect someone to remember to collect club subs now. Yeah, I should do it but I have a memory like a sieve, so it's on you to pick up the slack.
Could be an idea to post up pics of the committee members so that new members know who to look out for.
good idea, here is a picture of me at last years call to arms. I am on the left

Ah, the older brother I never knew...

Congrats Marcus, hopefully you can kick some life back into WM/H.

Looking forward to seeing what you can come up with.

PM me if you need any support, maybe a crossover club tourney at some point.

Cheers.

Jon.
Woah, that's a scary separated at birth moment right there...
What do you mean OLDER brother!? I am clearly the younger brother
The pictures of the other committee members should be here:

Will do upmost to find a non-offensive pic to upload . - I am the even taller chap (often reminded of this fact with the occasion head butt against the low roof in the club - you would assume that I would have learnt to duck by now - but no) Guess you will all get to curse my face though when I start the painful subs collection....

Looking forward to spending more time down the club and getting to know you all better ! Been coming down for three years and still have a cracking time

Any ideas for events , leagues etc please shout. Also think ‘tis about time we kicked of a regular drinking session maybe once a month.

Cheers
