Hi All
For the tank graveyard - the plan is to use busted up 40k tanks of any variety , mount them on their own base and use as scatter scenery. All will be giving a rusted decayed olde’ look (think the aftermath of the WWII Kursk tank battle!)
To this end –if anyone has any tank of any variety that is in a shocking state that can be donated to this table scenery. Seriously the worst the better!
Think it will look very cool to have 40k games in the midst of a host decayed tanks . This table will also have a bunch of tank traps for scatter (have a silicon ice cube tray –plan to fill up with plaster of paris -presto tank traps!)
Many thanks

I have part of a falcon and a sentinel I think, so I will bring these in when I get the chance. I will have a rummage, I think I have a land raider around somewhere, but I will have to check.

I have 2 of the old Metal Killa kans that are busted. Being metal they could be harder to work with. I also have some old gorka morka trukks that could be used.

It's worth checking ebay for this, too: if you do a quick search for 1/35 loads of busted old tank kits always come up for very little money.

Jeezus, you want 1/35 tank kits? I have a tool box left over from when i was about 10 with some real mess in it.
And approx 2 old school rhino's i can donate.
And a IG bits box dedicated just to "tanks".
Oh, and the remains of a sentinal somewhere (may be minus legs)
and i'm pretty sure max's mate has a assortment of old tanks he was trying to flog (now max has gone abroad) for cheap. and some on sprues. they may have been ebayed by now.

Car boot sales are good for this too.
There was a second hand store at salute, but they were asking silly prices. Had a falcon (or might have been another one... I get eldar confuffled) on there built and painted really badly for £1 less than a brand new box... and if you buy it new you get the other kit options and the opportunity to build it properly, not to mention saving on paint stripper! Oh well, they didn't look like they had sold much that day, and I'm not surprised!
