Looks like I won't be going to Salute after all now; would someone mind doing me a favour and picking up something from the Forgeworld stand for me if I give you the cash in advance?

How much is it and when is it?
There is a new boxed set from Immortal miniatures being released that I would quite like to buy (Greek Hoplites).

This Saturday, about a tenner.

I might be able to make it. I'll probably be there early as I'm making sure the ball and chain gets the first train to Cardiff that morning.

I am thinking I might be able to come. Might bring the family, or get a pass out on my own. I hope I will see some of you guys down there. If I do make it then it will be the first time in 4 years of trying.

Well I doubt I will get there TOO early, but I think my gf is going to take the boy to Greenwich for a day out, so he will be up early. What time does it open?

Seriously, So many of us have other halves and children we should be trying to organise them all to get together and we can then go off and game while their busy.

Good luck with that. You're in the middle of absolutely no-where (I used to like 15 mins walk away from it). Bring your own stuff or it's stuff like subway from inside the venue.

Well I'm definitely going to head down. I will try get there for opening, and I didn't get an advance ticket so that will have to be 10am. I was going to bring my gf and baby boy, but my gf didn't see the point in spending £11 on something she wouldn't really enjoy so they are going to head to Greenwich for a day out instead.
I'm just about to pre-order my greek hoplites from Immortal to pick up on the day. This ancients army is going to be a slow burner with warhammer 8th edition coming out this summer! Wonder if the metric rumours are true?!

I've got to give this a miss now as I've just been given a ticket to Arsenal v Man City.

Would anyone be able to pick up any info on Freebooter Miniatures. I really like their models after seeing Marcus' very kinky Sister of Mecry (see painting and hobby thread). They are just about to release their own tabletop game. I would be very grateful if someone could do this.
