Sorry to say, the club will be closed next Tuesday. They have a booking so we have been bumped out.

Will be back as usual the week after, I'll post up a bookings thread nearer the time.
Oh no! No Hordesmachine! No cold beers and complaining about Blood Angels. Sad
You mean we will have to spend more time with our other halves?

Uh-oh!

No no no, don't worry.
It means you have more time to paint your silverfish.

It's okay. I now sit in my room and complain about blood angels to myself, they're that bad.
The Sanguinary Guard are lovely miniatures, though. As is Lemartes, and Astorath.
How about a club social instead then?

We all get our fix of gaming gossip but swap playing games for drinking greater quantities of beer. A venue close to the bell&compass so everyone can still get there easily - any suggestions?

Matt
Beeeeeeeeeer.
Why not make it IN the bell and compass... I'm sure the upstairs part will still be open for general use. If not there are some decent ale pubs nearby. There is a good fullers pub up on tottenham court road.
Hmmm. OK, we've now been informed that the club will be closed for the next two, possibly three, weeks.

On a not wholly unrelated topic, the Committee have had enough of us being treated like sh*te by the pub management, and are considering a trial run of moving the club stuff to another venue for these two/three weeks.

We'll let you know.
a beer next week sounds good - great idea Matt - maybe people can bring ideas to the commitee of other venues that could support the club to help the committe......there are plenty of us that work in London who may know of venues.....

YES YES YES - please do. I hear rumours of a Dark Heresy-playing pub owner, nice atmosphere, and a great location (at least for me that is) close to London Bridge.

Necro people, I am up for casual fights next week - if the club is closed, we could a couple of games in at mine if people are interested

Hi guys,

As Nick has said we don’t have the use of the Bell and Compass for the next few weeks.
Seems like a long time to go without a game so we are going to relocate to a potential new venue we have been looking at to give it a trial.

We can then decide, based on feedback from you guys and probably a poll, if we like the idea of making the move permanent.

We will have the tables and scenery there so feel free to come down for a game or just have a few beers, a chat and check the place out.

More Details on the venue can be seen in the announcements thread here: http://www.crossgamingclub.com/forum/sho...hp?tid=643

Hope you can make it down and look forward to seeing you

Kind regards,
Chris
Sounds perfect!
Hurrah!

Right. Can I book a table for Necro please? :-)
Like the sound of this! Question though - will this thread be locked and a new one opened for challanges or do we put them in here if this is going ahead?

I'll Chat to Nick about this as he is the master of challenges Smile
post here for now if you like though, and we can always copy paste them into any new thread created
Challenges thread started.

Necromunda table booked for the campaign. If anyone else with bookings / challenges can please put them in that thread as normal. Many thanks.
