With the B&C closed and with us holding the club at the new location during this time, this tuesday (13th) is probably going to be a bit manic.
If you want a game feel free to come down to St Christophers in on the 13th but I will now look to run the actual Infinity event on the 20th at the new venue.

Regards,
Chris
Cool beans. I'll stick that one down in me diary Wink
I will be down for the 20th to help demo the game with my ariadna. I will try and have them painted for this as well.

Ditto me.
Will make a nice fluffy 50pt list. And be assured- with my speed of painting the minis definitely won't be painted. Blush
Right, Infinity Intro This week!
Happy to give anyone interested a taste of this wonderful game system. Marcus and Andre confirmed as being available to help out and hoping to cajole Luke and Jon Luke into it as well.

I know quite a few guys are interested in this but would like to get an idea of who is definite for this week as I want to make sure we have the table space.

Going to put the army size to 60 pts and lieutenants will not be required for these missions.
I will bring along a couple of lists for people to use and if you have your own minis and want any advice on lists feel free to ask.

First games will be basic fights to show mechanics, second will introduce some objectives that should expand on what you pick up from the first game.

Looking forward to seeing you on the field!

Regards,
Chris
Two questions, Chris:

How long will you need us, i.e. is there time for me to book a game second session? ( Though I thought to play against Luke, but I already spotted his response to a 40k challenge... Booooh)

Will you do lists for all factions? I.e. I won't need to create a list? Or do you want me to cobble something together?

Look forward to some Infinity goodness!

Yeah, book a game for one session and play an intro to hlep me out in the other is fine.

If your using your own minis then you can put your own list together.
I'll have lists for the models I'm bringing.
I'd like to try this in the early session, if possible. I'll try and look into the rules prior to that so I won't be completely clueless...
Wouldn't mind an early slot go at this myself. Having a watch on the next table and looking at the minis has piqued my interest.
I will be down late session and I will bring three ariadna lists to play with/ for people to use. Hope to see a lot of people there
il be down for the intor night and will bring my Combined army models I can do either session and im looking forward to it.
Well... I'm still aiming to collect Nomads, but I just won an auction on ebay - both starter sets for Ariadna and Yu Jing for 11 quid.
I did manage to win auctions for the Nomad sniper and their Reverend Moira character.
I'm going to paint up both starter packs and get used to the game mechanics whilst building up a Nomads force to be reckoned with...
I may even be tempted to sell these on if there is interest, but I will come to that later on - gotta paint em first! Big Grin

I will be able to game with something by the following week as I cannot stick around this week for the intro night... but I pretty much got an intro to it courtesy of Chris and Andre last week and that definitely swayed me in favour of the game. Thanks for letting me watch and answering my questions by the way!
I got my starter set a couple of weeks ago. The models are pretty fiddly but look great. Only bad part is I am back at uni so cant come down for any game nights. But I only have about 5 weeks left of this term so I should be back for some games soon.
Hopefully by then I will have them painted up.
I am trying to decide what colour scheme to go for.
5 weeks for 8 models should be enough Tongue Get the paints out! Wink
Thanks to all the guys coming down to the intro last night. I think we had a pretty good time and nice to see so many interested in a fantastic game. If anyone has any questions or comments then post them up. We also have a rules thread for any queries and questions so we all can learn them (they are pretty complicated)

Also, I would love to see any painted figures up as people progress through their forces. I will try to keep posting mine (Chris - I am looking at you, your meant to be the Veteran here and we are meant to be playing on Aphemion when it is painted Wink)
Woot. I got my two Nomad models through this morning (still waiting on the Ariadna and Yu Jing).
I will probably start painting them today once I've pinned them and glued them together. Just the nomad Spektr sniper and Revered Moiras.

I'm liking the look of those hellcats and Der Morlock Gruppe models so I might add those once these are done. Obviously I will be getting a hacker to play to the strengths of the Nomad force and offer some tactical flexibility with my lists. Then I guess some Alguaciles to generate those all important orders.
Oh, and it would be a crime for me to ignore the Daktari. Little feline girl in high heels bending over with that innocent look on her face?! Criminal indeed.

Anyway, as you can tell I really enjoyed the intro games. I hope a good amount of gamers here decide to take up Infinity as it's relatively inexpensive and doesn't require a great deal of dedication to paint up a force (much like Necromunda or Blood Bowl).
I look forward to creating some lists when the rest of my miniatures arrive!
Thanks again Andre, Chris and Marcus!
Great games last night, thanks for the intro, guys! I am still hesitating on this only because I cannot decide what minis I like the most. xD I might need some help putting a small starter list together that is useful as well as satisfying my aesthetic needs. If I just buy the models I like I will most likely end up with the best looking group ever that tumbles across the whole board just to shoot themselves in the forehead...

Glad you enjoyed it. If you post up the minister you like I am sure we could work out practical lists for you
