Thanks to the support of loads of people I am now a part of a team blog called
Café Turbo. It will be the place where I will literally write loads and loads of shit about anything that looks cool wargaming-wise. Give it a look and post some downright incendiary shit in the comments.
I love you guys,
Vish, Anal Irritant.
Already on it as of last night

I know, but your blog is awesome! You got cool shit all over it! Including your rather informative capsule review of Freebooter's Fate.

Thats not mine... I've not done anything to my blog yet lol
Only just started it myself... I think Ish has something about freebooters on his.
Oh shit! Is that Ish's?! Awesomesauce!

Honestly Vish, the language. I swear like a trooper, I hang out with squaddies, and yet you are making me blush. I am calling your mum right now.
Awesome blog. I love the break down of the spells for Strakov, but reread rift, it is an AOE which remains in play, even if the model is killed. That means you can block up that little charge lane the enemy is hoping to use. I do agree though that it is a bit expensive, and with everything else he has I am not going to be using it.
Cheers man, yeah due to the fact it's only 4" wide most people should be able to make their way around it. Again makes it really iffy when compared to the rather more useful spells in his list. The man is real dangerous.
My mum is gonna get loads of phonecalls. I'm shitting myself.
Yo Vish, sorry to tell you man, but the Police know. And we don't care ...
Oh, and also ...

There's a lot of scope for rumour-mongering right there dude.
Does anyone else hear Vish's voice in their head when they read this?
It's uncanny lol
Great blog, look forward to seeing more

It's because I type how I speak, fast, disjointed and loads of swearing.

Phew, that battle report was massive. I need a shower.

If anyone needs him mum's number ask me, i got it.
Fantastic battle report, even though I played I really enjoyed rereading it.
Cheers Pete, now everyone will complain! :\
Thanks Marcus, I wanted to show the intensity of the battle through the medium of words and poorly drawn pictures.

Written up the new battle report. Marcus vs Nick, a real shit grinder!
New write up about dealing with cheaters.

Hammer to the head?

I fucking wish, but there are extreme cases.
I say sock-jacking ain't a bad idea though.

Nice post on cheating, I have seen model surfing being used quite a bit in GW stores.
I have cut one of those red range markers you get in starter sets to 6" so I can lay it next to my models to show they have not gone more than 6".
The lack of a army list is another thing I dislike. I dont know my army book let alone other armies to know if a list is over. With out a army list its quite easy to sneak in another powersword on those vets or something.
Thanks man, yeah I find model surfing is rife in 40k as it's can make the difference between a charge and a failed one. Especially if mathematically it's impossible.
I can't play someone who doesn't have an army list. It's quite horrible as they literally can sneak in stuff that would be over their points. I think GW should have certain points costs the same across armies. For example a Power Sword in a Squad of Vets is usually 15points. But then again if they don't have a list, you wouldn't know what they have. I say if your opponent hasn't got an army list then something fishy is up. Hell, I've written army lists while in the shower, toilet, on the bus, in queues, because writing them is fun. I don't understand why some people have an aversion to them.
