As a rough guide, how many packs of magnets and magnetic paper would I need to magnetise up to about 150 skaven?
1 sheet of magnetic paper and 1 magnet/skaven should be more than enough, as long as they are plastic miniatures. Metallic miniatures need more magnets.

Hard to estimate as it depends on what formation you use. The sheets are, I think, A4, ie 210x297mm give or take.
So that's 10 (and a bit) bases wide by nearly 15 deep. (Skaven are all on 20x20mm bases right?)
If you're doing trays for 20 rats, 5 wide 4 deep, one sheet will do six units. If you're doing bigger units, more odd sizes, or mixing and matching base sizes eg Rat Ogres, cav bases etc etc then you'll have to work it out yourself.
I'd be surprised if you need more than about 3 sheets for an army though, unless it includes multiple crazy horde units of slaves
So I'm guessing that thereis one sheet per pack.

If they are plastic, then 1 rare earth magnet per model will suffice, the paper is A4, so just depends on how big your trays are going to be, but I reckon 2 sheets max for that number
