Infinity bases are 25mm round (GW style).

Might have to pop down Maplin for a look at the mini flight case. I do like the look of the Feldherr cases but not sure if they'd fit the 30mm and occasional 40mm Malifaux minis.
Found out the appeture size on the Feldherr is 25mm deep and the base of each tray is 10mm, so overall height per tray is 35mm. I figure that's cool (if not peferential for 30mm, stops them wiggling about too much) so I've bought one!

£18ish shipped from Total Wargaming down in Surrey. Even bought a spare 10mm separator as a lid for 45p. Big Grin DONE!

Will report back once I've received it and shoved everything in.

Cheers,

Dom
So, if anyone could make a suggestion for how the living f*ck I'm going to transport my Dark Eldar army, I'd be most grateful.

I anticipate somewhere between 6 and 12 raider hulls (raiders, ravagers and venom conversions); possibly a big spiky jet fighter or two; three taloi; and a hundred or so troops including elfses, ogres (Grotesques), flesh hounds (warp beasts), griffons (Ur-Ghul), jet bikes and hellions.

Utter bastard nightmare. Harumph.

ha ha yeah had the same issue with the air cav - total bollocks to carry! to the point just got to anoying to carry after a while. I remember the last time you had the DE down the club - boxes and boxes .....

reckon the best way is to get a metal case and magnatise the crap out of everything and the stick the models to the inside. Raziel did this for his Ultramarines army to great affect!
Feldherr is good, but a slight squeeze on the bases. I dont mind that, though some of the more case OCD people (:cough:Ish:coughSmile would be a bit pissed off. After seeing Ish's case last night I am tempted to go for a KR loaded out with good trays. I am going to get a list together of all the minis I want and see if it will go in the Mini Flight Case I have or if I will upgrade to a full size case from KR.

Nick - A poor illegal immagrant with boxes strapped to his back. This is one of the things detering me from a DE mech list. It is going to be bad enough trying to pull models out with all those spikey bits getting stuck. you could use this http://battlefoam.com/catalog.php?category=82 x 2, though you would have to face the beatings on the train home

Yeah, loads of cardboard boxes full of polystyrene, one model per box. And the f*****g c***suckers still broke! Carried in a big canvass bag - oh yeah bitches! Fear the laundry bag of DOOOM!!11!

Haha, I like your thinking!
For DE. Maybe a big tub of jelly?

Or, one of those flower display foam blocks, just stick everything to it. Clear up after the game could be quick and fun as you throw everything from a distance at it.

Just some ideas...
Haha, very good. Quick and easy, and probably very satisfying if I've lost (again) and feel the need to throw something ... Wink

Tidy-up and therapy all in one! MVD wins.
