so this Tuesday I'll be popping down to the club, and as I haven't been before, I was wondering what I can expect to find.

Are there ground rules for miniatures to be painted?

Is there a fee etc?

Do any of you bite?!

If anyone can shed some light that would be fantastic!
everything has to be painted to golden demon standard, fee is £100 per turn, and we have medicinal shots on standby for both normal and zombie bites!

all kidding aside, it is a very chilled out club, everyone is very friendly and happy to talk. Nothing has to be painted, though we have/are working on premium tables which require painted armies. fee is £5 per table, £3 if a member. If you want to become a member it is £20 for life. Bites are extremely rare, though I wouldn't try and steal someones food since you will be at real risk.

Ill be down on tuesday, so feel free to come and chat. I will be playing Khador, and I am the tall bloke with blond hair in a ponytail and a goatee
Hiya Marcus,

Thanks for the reply!

As ive said already, ive literally in the last week picked up Warmachine, Infinity and Malifaux mini's, and with work havent had the time to paint, so my mdels are nekkid.

I'll obviously work towards painting them ASAP, as i love gaming with painted mini's, so it shouldnt take me long.

I'll especially look out for you then, as i'll be playing Khador, and can do with some tips!

I'll be the not so tall bloke, dark shaved head, looking a little lost!
Well I'd like to say a huge thank you for making my first night at the club a welcoming one, I thouroughly enjoyed the night, and I gained exactly what I was looking for ( bar the loss handed to me by Dan ( which we have found today had many reasons lol)).

I didn't get to talk to everyone, or get everyones names, but thank you for helping me out and saying hello. I'm looking forward to my next visit, my rematch against Dan and my first wm victory!

Thanks again!
Your welcome, and good to see you down there. I am looking forward to taking you on at some point, and remember that Jon/Vish are available for demo games
Hi guys! Today I'll be popping down to the club. I haven't been there before and woke up to late to book a table, so I'll just come to take a look and have a chat. Smile One thing that came to my mind: do you have any problems with using different models than the original ones? I really want to start playing hordes and orboros is the fraction I like most. As I still have some confrontation wolfen and I LOVE the models, would it be a problem to use them as warbeasts?

Martin

PS. Sorry for my english, not being british means grammar will be my nightmare forever... Smile
If you play 40k there is a spare slot against YellowDuck in the 8:30 time bookings.
Nice... I'll bring my daemons then. Smile Thanks a lot.
Hi Martin, welcome to the club. I will get you booked up against yellowduck this evening and you can get a game of 40k. I dont think anyone would have a problem with using other models as long as it is clear what they are. I love the wolfen, so it should work well for some tharn ravagers. We can have a chat when you come down. I will be playing Khador with Strakov against some Cryx.
I have a few models for confrontation. Never played it myself, but a friend who I introduced to the club recently has a large collection of minis for it. You can still buy the minis from this website:
http://www.ludikbazar.com/
So one day I'll get more than just a box set of praetorians Smile

the club is in the basement part of the pub. Welcome back!!
It is in the basement part of the pub. You can either come in the front, walk halfway down the bar, down a couple of steps and you will see the door facing you on the right, or you can walk down the side of the pub and come in through the side door, and the stairs to the basement are right there.
