Hello.
I have tried to make a Traitor Guard army a number of times but always fallen short.
This summer I have decided to have a go again doing one along side my Skaven I will be doing for Tale of X gamers.

I think they will be a nice break to painting tons of fur.

So I was looking at my Imperial Armour books and like the look of a Khorne army. Lots of IG and mutants supported by Zerkers and a CSM lord like it should be in fluff.

I was just wondering if anybody would let me use this list at the club.
The list is not that strong and is alot weaker than the current IG codex but I know some people dont like playing Imperial armour stuff. I mean they use the old points value so I pay 85 pts for Chimera rather than 55pts.
There will be no superheavies or fliers or anything like that.

I know I could make a few stronger list using the IG codex but then I would not get to use zerkers or dreadclaws or even Beastmen.
So long as you got the go ahead from the person you agreed to play, I can't see any reason why anyone would have an issue. I'd certainly be willing to play them!
Good luck doing that at the same time as a hoard army though lol
No problems at all. Most people are pretty easy about unofficial lists as long as they know in advance. I think the only time people might object is if they're practising for a tourny where that list won't be allowed.

Personally I love the IA lists, they're really characterful and tend to the under- rather than over-powered.
Thats cool, I would of course tell the person before hand that they will be facing a IA list and will answear any rule questions they have about the units.
I will be hard making it alongside a horde WFB army but due to forgeworld costs I will be making it very slowly. Will just paint a few men when I get bored of all the brown.
