Anybody playing this?
Noticed someone based in Greenwich has previously been running games?
Never played it. Very interested in doing so. Total RPG novice, but I'm game for a laugh.
Hit us up.
Oh, that's me. Hmm, we've had one session so far - then one of our party had exams so we postponed for a bit and since then I've been too busy/not in London to arrange the second. If you like, though, I can let you know when we start up again and see if we can write you in?
Played it once (kinda) online. The campaign fell through though, I think people lost interest as turns took too long.
If someone started up a game at the club I'd be up for giving it a go though.
Started off loving it, the internet sucked the joy out of the game with Grimdark thrown around like confetti and 4chan memes. The career system also started to bug me, especially when things like playable Vindicare Assassins popped up
I'm working on making a careerless/open system for myself and seeing how that works out.

Sounds good to me dude.
I'm in Brockley so not too far away!!
oo Opportunity to poke Tim... POKE! get on with it! the suspense is killing me!!!
I played and DM'ed it a few times in Germany, and I wouldn't mind playing it again. The one thing that bugged me a lot when I was a player was that several other players just played exaggeratedly stereotypical characters, i.e. the techpriest that couldn't even speak normally anymore ("Your input does not compute."), the psychopathic assassin that spends his time threatening the rest of the team, etc...
When I was DM, I tried to make it clear to the players that the people recruited into the Inquisition were the unusual, or even extraordinary, types, the ones who could see that the Imperium's truths may be questionable, but that letting the people question them is too dangerous for the survival of mankind.
I'm playing a sporadic campaign of it with some friends out Reading way. I like it

Let's get something sorted dudes!!
Well, I'm definitely staying in London now, so I'll get back on to writing part two for the existing characters, and then see if I can introduce more characters at a later date, for those who are interested.

I've never RP'd before but always wanted to. I'd be interested in getting involved if possible. I have a PDF of the rulebook.
yeah im definately keen to get into the action when im back in the uk too.
I'm defo on for this, like.
Let me know when something is likely to go down.
Word.
There seem to be quite a lot of new people interested. I don't know how big the games can run, but if there's one already in progress and the Kaiser can DM, maybe we could get a second one going.
Yeah, tbh, I wouldn't want to take my current gaming group over, say, six, just to give everyone enough 'air-time' during each mission. We currently have four, and possibly one other - but I'll have a think anyway and see what I can do.
I'd also be interested in giving this a go at some point, total RPG noob though! Maybe I could get in sometime when a new game starts up?
I think starting a new game for the newer characters would be pretty much a forgone conclusion at this point, assuming everyone is still up for it.
Not sure how this would factor in with the Tuesday night schedule though, might be one for doing on Sundays if that all goes ahead?
5-6 players and a GM sounds like a good party size, you want it to be fluid otherwise people will lose interest.

This is the difficulty, really: as a GM, you have to put in so much work for games to be interesting and successful it can be pretty draining. It only needs a tiny hiccough to upset the game flow, too: for example, one of our party had exams to prepare for, so we had to forgo (what was supposed to be) a few sessions, however, we'd already decided to keep the team small as that was easier, losing one member means the whole game has to be put on hold as, effectively, we lost 25% of our team.
Also, as we'd decided that we'd be keeping games regular but well spaced (once per fortnight, for example) that meant we lost 1-2 months worth of playing, which stalls things loads! After that, things have just stalled even further as I fell behind with other priorities (like finding paid employment

)
Hmm, anyway, I can't remember if I had a point... haha!
There is the option of leaving a member of the team behind if you know you are going to be without them for an extended period (and they don't mind of course). You can write it in so they get to a safe area or something, of course they would miss out on levelling and the team would find the scenario that bit harder to complete.
That's why it's best to make things move swiftly in RPG's so you can effectively get stages complete in a day or two before moving on to the next part of the campaign. That way people get drawn in to the story the GM wants to portray.
I'm totally still up for this by the way
