Of course, as it was based on the Easy company's memoirs, the story is a real one, which always makes war films SO much better when you see the kind of shit people had to go through...
yeah was one (if not) of the best WWII programs ever made - The Pacific was good but not in BoB league
Shaving Ryans Privates is one of the classic parodies (though of course would never watch such filth only heard about it.......)
Sorry guys, the line is not from Shaving Ryans Privates.

try this one for size - one of the best ever 80's film:
"Maybe we should add more special effects like exploding socks"

Too easy, Muppets Take Manhattan. Though I can't remember which one says it. Been too long since I saw that film, hmm, maybe a cheap dvd buy?
Is La Haine good? I've not seen it.

good work fella impressed with you muppet knowledge ! yeah La Haine is a cracker not exactly a happy film though....
Yeah, it's pretty good. But Luke's got it on the nose. Pretty sad but honest. I enjoyed it.

I'm a muppet (and all of Jim Henson's stuff fan), but anything in French and I'm stumped.

Absolutely correct, I think my favourite of the Man with No Name westerns, though I recognise The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is the superior of the three masterpieces. Also see Sergio Leones Once Upon a Time in the West - absolutely brilliant!
Points to Marcus!
this is from one of my all time favourate films, though I am sure a lot of people do not like it.

yeah have to admit is one of my "Guilty pleasures" always very happy to watch it whenever it is on the box. Msrs Cruise is actually acceptable in it - and gotta love Billy C's small part!
"Are all men from the future loud-mouthed braggarts?"
"Nope. Just me baby… Just me."
Or possibly my favourite of that film:
"We've got plans for you girly girl."

"all right you primitive screw heads listen up, this is my BOOM stick"...."Shop smart shop S-Mart" lol

Army of Darkness?
I think evil dead 2 is best
I loved Army of Darkness. It's mental. I love the bit when he messes up the reading of the Necronomicon.

Oh yeah, it's great. I was actually discussing it last night at the pub with my mate, but we both agreed the evil dead 2 was the superior film. The gran in the basement is just awesome beyond all other awesomeness. hehe
But army of darkness I love too. First evil dead is also damn good!
God dammit what's the line or should i start one?
