I'm liking the Japanese Sectorial army even more Smile
Yeah those sectorials are awesome models. I was tempted by some for my Yu Jing contingent, but they will have to wait until Ariadna and Nomads are out of the way as I prefer their models and play styles.
Just read though the article. I am looking forward to fielding a PanO knight based army, those where the models that made me go for Pan O.
It's awesome that more people are getting interested in infinity Big Grin
After reading all the link rules want to point a couple of things out to Chris / Paul.

1) link troops loose impetuous and frenzy whilst in a team
2) only one link team allowed per player.

Kinda stops the 60 point highland order group you where thinking of, and my domaru teams Sad
Not really, you can change the team by expending an order thus you can run more teams, and my highlander group has its own pool of orders due to being over 10 models in my army total so wont effect the rest of my army's actions.
ah my miss understanding of what you were / are :O planning -
Yeah you can only have one link team at a time but can switch this.
So its a case of managing your active teams to make the most/keep control of your Imp/Frenzy troops,
while leaving the team, that can use the bonuses best, linked for the reactive turn.
one other thing that has confused me though - I cant find anywhere apart from V:courage (and higher levels) that stops HI from having to make a guts roll. I can how ever find both HI & TAGs that have V:courage (PanO's Teutonic knights and Yu Yings new TAG)
I really need to play some more games, it's all going over my head Tongue
Is it me or are the Inifinity rulebooks really difficult to read. They hide all the rules away in the text and make it really difficult to find info. I wish they were more clear and concise with the rules. I love the system, but it is difficult to check stuff.
Heh. Yeah, they are some of the worst rulebooks I've ever come across for actually conveying rules!

Nice books with gorgeous minis (very inspirational for the hobbyist). But the layout is terrible and the small font doesn't help. You'd think the revised edition would have fixed the problems.
Maybe we should make a club version for ourselves - just the bullet points in an easy to reference style. Maybe rule pointers and references to the pages you will find it on. I too have had a bit of difficulty following the book, but I've always been one to learn through experience and actually doing things rather than reading about it.
so the club rulebook edited by you would look something like
  • Buy a starter box
  • Come down to St Chris'
  • Play and learn through experience

Tongue
Yep Big Grin
Spot on!
change the first one to

- buy models of a faction you like
Ish, you have got it wrong, the rulebook goes like this

1. Buy starter set
2.Come down to the club
3. Constantly ask Chris rules questions until he gets sick of you and tells you to fuck off
4. Sell miniatures on ebay
Have you ever seen Chris speaking to a newbie? The faint twitch of the face, the maniac smile and the unnatural shine of the eyes suggest that we will all learn the rules or die.
