I wonder if there's any way to post up a map...?
I can make an Excell document/Photoshop picture if it would help...?
Ok, looking for a game next week in the early session.

I'd like to try a game without any magic users at all if someones willing to give that a go?
Pete, can we get a map up and moves for turn 2, I don't know who I'm attacking and with what Sad.

Pete must be really busy, poor guy, maybe one of us can help with getting the map online? Angel
(or, in less polite tems: we want a map!)
I'll steal a copy of the map from him on Tuesday
Can someone mention this to Pete for me in case he doesn't get online; I'm not going to be there tomorrow.

To Pete: I think you wanted me to book a table with you next week for a scenario campaign game..? Can you confirm that for me please. -Andrew

(I'll also send a private message, just to be sure)
I think we can bump the campaign points level up to 1500 after yesterday

Regarding points from the mega battle for one battle only you can give a hero, not a lord, an extra 50 points of equipment for 1 battle only.

Those who didnt take part are limited to 25 points

I have an idea for wrapping the Campaign up so it may well be worth saving this bonus for that so you can use the extra gear on your Lord...

I'm going to try and get the map off Pete tomorrow and sort out another campaign turn
I'm a bit out of the Loop with the campaign, are we on the next turn yet? have we got a map up?
We're on the next turn

Still no map I'm afraid, didnt manage to see Pete yesterday. When I spoke to him Tuesday he said he should have internet up and working by the weekend... so I guess we'll see what happens with that

Can I get a list of what territories people have? From memory I have the following tiles
Looked after by my non-lord army
1 Mountain - Mine
1 Plains - Unbuilt

Looked after by my Lord
1 Mountain - Unbuilt
1 Plains - Castle

So that gives me an extra gold to improve territories with the mine and my lord and his castle his 2 specials/1 rare option

It's all very abstract and I don't know what my tiles are.
But I know I upgraded my Castle to a City, and I built a Monument for my Lord

That's all I've done 'cause I've lost all but one of my games this campaign, which is ironic because my warriors have won every game that hasn't been counted for the campaign (honest).
Sounds like you have at least 2 plains tiles then, the city will give you a rare slot and a special slot or an extra special slot (so 3 in total)

The monument I believe will give you an extra hero choice

Its been so long I think it might just be best for you to redecide which armies are where, is your Lord near the city or the monument? (tbh I'm seriously considering dropping Lords entirely but I'll take a show of hands on that)
Hmm... Losing the Lord would be a pity, but I do admit my Sorcerer Lord is far stronger than his points worth in regular Sorcerer's.
I'll vote to keep 'em but I'll be happy to go with the majority.

I remember there was some talk about some of the campaign games being Blood-bowl or Mordheim games: is this still something that's being considered? I do love a bit of specialist gaming.
Certainly is, or much smaller WFB games using a mix of Mordheim/Warhammer rules
Do people want to wrap this up or not?

By "wrap this up" do you mean finish the campaign?

I think not having a map has been an issue: in effect we've just been playing Warhammer games with extra limitations: if we had the map on display at the club each week (it could be left with the scenery) I know I would feel more excited about what me and everyone else is doing during the campaign turn.
I've worked on an excel map, not quite as shiny as Petes full set of tiles but I can update this as soon as I get an idea of who is where or we can reroll for areas?

Problem is I am now also out of work, so that means a lot of free time but most of it is going to be spent job hunting, I've attached the map and I'll get some rules defined if you guys want to carry on? We can then either share the admin duties in terms of updating this or take turns GMing campaign turns

I'll be along Tuesday so think we should all have a chat about this then
Hhi guys. Used to come to the club a few years ago but had a last minute move away from london and now im back again so was looking to start coming. I'll haveto grab all my fantasy armies out of storage in february, but I also have 2 sets of the old 'mighty empires' game, which is about 240 hexagonal map tiles. Would you guys be interested in a campaign using them (and perhpas the original ME rules? they're available as a pdf which ill link). As they're card they could be fixed to a sheet of cardboard and stored at the club. let me know if this is of interest
Sam
Major threadomancy.

Hi Fanatic, welcome back to the club, happy for you to suggest a campaign, but can you start up a new thread. Thanks.
