I've not used any of them, but they would certainly speed up the process for mass painting (much like using an airbrush really - just less control).

I undercoated my skaven with the leather brown spray.
It's good stuff.
If there is anybody who isn't crap at cameras that wouldn't mind photographing my rats, that would be awesome!

You are asking online, if someone will come round and photo your rat. I'm sure you'll get alot of responses. Try facebook, or beebo or whatever it is to do that.

I looked at the army painter sprays, I thought daemonic yellow could be good for my Bad Moon Trukks. Also the flesh coloured one would be good on rat ogres.
I have heard that they are rather thick and you have to shake them for ages.

Cheers for that.

I can photograph your rats if you like, but depends where you are. Club might be better if we did it on a sunday session sometime. Just need some half decent natural light and a backdrop. I can arrange the latter if you can't print off a gradient.

that would be very good of you.
I'll get you a pint or something in return.
Word.

I'll bring my camera and tripod down to one of the sunday sessions and take some.

@Nick
Is the Hellcannon misfire table “roll a D6"?
If so I think the result you managed to achieve last night looks to be around a 1 in 50 000 chance!!

Why, what happened?
14-07-2010, 04:49 PM
Step one, Hellcannon misfires
Step two, rolls a 3 on the table, all magic dice generators suffer miscast
Step three, Double 6s Nicks Sorc loses two magic levels and 2 spells
Step four, Double 1s Nicks BSB kills half his unit and gets sucked into the warp!
(I forgot the sucked into the warp bit was also 50/50 after the miscast on top of the double 1s, so its actually closer to 1/100 000!!)

You see Chris, you've made the mistake of applying mathematics and probability to my dice. To anyone else, yes it would be 1/100000. To me it's about 50/50.

Lol
Well as TP says 1 in a million chances come off 9 times out of ten so a 1/100000 is blatantly going to be happening every game.

Yes, absolutely. A ton should do it. And I promise to spend it on the lottery, and not beer. Or crack. Or whores. Or crack whores.

Yeah, it wasn't a great night for the dice. Having said that, Chris simply played better than me, so I can't complain too much about the end result.

Err not quite,
You probably killed more of your army than I did!
And the decisive combat hinged on one casualty. One more dead elf and my line would not have held and I would have been fighting for survival rather than making a glorious counter charge.
I won big in the end but I think it was a very close game that could have gone either way.
Lore of life rocks! have to think about which to try out next

I just realised my WFB rulebook has "only" 512 pages, instead of the 528 announced in GW's website.

I can't find some sections I saw in the books exposed in GW's stores before the release, and they were definitely not the Collector's edition. Do you know if there's any difference between the Gamer's edition and the basic rulebook?
