I know some of you guys work in similar fields, so may be one of you need/know someone who needs apprientice graphic designer/web designer. I'm finishing my course now and could use some 'real life' training. Can't say I have a lot of experience, but I'm fast learner and hard working. For the last 2,5 year I've been working as a dental technician, but it is not for me and I never liked it. Hope one of you can give me some advice as I don't really know where to start.
Get yourself a kick arse portfolio together, then offer yourself out to clients (you will have to do your own networking) but undercut. The lack of working experience means you will probably have to accept less pay at first, but I know a lot of designers who started out like this.
Any idea how big this portfolio shoud be? An what should it include? Never did one like that and it is bit different than writing a CV. Wage is not a problem, I expect to get less.

No idea, I'm not a designer myself, I just happen to know quite a few of them.
I also know of three people on these forums that are:
Ish, Gareth, and I also believe minus_t
If I were you I would try searching google for help in constructing your portfolio. Look at sites/forums dedicated to designers and just ask around.
