Hello All, A_bomb! and I have been working on a campaign for warmachine and hordes. We have a set of rules which I am posting up here for people to have a look at, and there will be a map as soon as it is designed (we have our top designers on this at the moment).

I have tried to keep the campaign nice and simple and not get carried away with it too much. There will be some fun characterful things you will be able to do, and teaming up will be encouraged. This is not a serious league or tournement, and should be seen as a narrative campaign. Due to this, Tom will be GMing the campaign, and he will be incharge of any problems we run into, so you should be prepared for some rules to be adjusted if we find something too overpowered. He will also be handing out secret missions to everyone, which will be tailored to your fractions/casters.

One restriction we will be imposing is a limit of two casters/locks per person for the whole campaign. Please state which ones you would like to use, and if there are any clashes then we will settle them klingon style.

We would like to know interest in the campaign and who whats to sign up. We will run 2 week rounds, and you can put a maximum of 2 games forward for a round. I am contemplating putting a week break between each round to give people a chance for a break/catchup/time to book games the following week. It would be a nightmare doing all the challenges and then trying to book up games for the tables.

Have at it guys and let me know if you want to get involved. I will post up more info as I get it.

Edit: People Playing

Marcus - Khador (Zerkova/Old Witch)
Martin G - Circle (Kromac/eKaya)
Diabolist Plod - Circle (Moshar/Baldur)
A_bomb! - Legion (eLylyth/eThagrosh)
Micho - Cryx (eSkarre/?)
mnkyclldshlly - Menoth (Vindictius/High Reclaimer)
Ravage - Khador (Butcher/Strakov)
Marauder Mitch - Cryx (pDenny/Coven)
slasher - Menoth (pFeora/pKreoss)
dancingmonkey - Cryx (pSkarre/pGoreshade)
You know well I'm interested. As for the casters I'll go for Kromac and eKaya.

I'm not sure what do you mean as a back up but I'm guessing it means 3rd caster in case of special rule or sth. Back up one will be Mohsar then.

How about game sizes? I'm limited by minis and now will slowly swap the confrontation wolfen for original models. Is there any upper/lower limit?
I'm in, Circle ofc. Martin can have Kromac, I'll take Mohsar and one other. Not sure on my secondaries. Probably Baldur and/or pKrueger. Or maybe Morvahna if I ever pick up the model. I'll think about it.
Right I'm bringing my legion to this campaign! Oh how I hope I get a scythean before the campaign starts! Big Grin. Right I should also in responce to martin's question - we're looking at 35pt as standard game size. To save time in the team events (seeing that the 100pt game Marcus and Tom played took 6 hours!) armies will definitely be smaller in size.

Back-up means that if two of you want to use the same casters, then we should be able to come to an arrangement to swap and let both people use at least one that they want... ie:
Player 1 wants to use casters A and B, and has C as backup.
Player 2 wants to use casters A and B and has D as backup.
They decide amongst themselves who most wants A or B, and end up with player 1 having B and C, and player 2 having A and D...
If that makes sense?

Game sizes will be entirely up to you guys, but there will probably be some special scenarios that will have set points levels (although expect these to be generally quite low).

-Tom.
Now I get it. Smile So it's Kromac and eKaya (probably won't even use her if not forced to by campaign rules) for me.
I'm in with my Cryx. I'll take eSkarre for sure and pDeneghra or Terminus. Still not sure about the 2nd one.
I might go for the unfamiliar and untested just for fun. I'll take Vindictus and the High Reclaimer.
I'll pop me name down for Butcher and Strakhov.
Fantastic, we already have 7 people signed up, plus a reasonable mix of opponents.

The reason for 2 casters is to keep the storylines interesting. You do not have to use both and it would be easier if everyone used one, but I know that I might get bored playing caster for 3 months, so having the option of a second might stop people getting in a rut.
Hmm.. Well I've been thinking about it and I'm thinking that I'll use definitely eLylith. And for the second caster.... will be eThagrosh. *There be Dragons here* Tongue
Right, it's Mohsar and Baldur for me. I'm planning on picking up a Wold Guardian, and either a second Warden or the Megalith, so that should work nicely with Baldur. It'll also force me to get around to putting together and painting Baldur at last ... Smile
When are you thinking of starting the campaign or have I just been blind and missed it. I'd like to join using my skorne with xersis and morghul.
I will add you in bill. Probably start in 3-4 weeks.
Seeing as i have stopped fantasy due to 8th can you put me down for Cryx with

EGoreshade and Coven
No problem I'll let Marcus know tomorrow, and he'll add you in with bill.
eGoreshade huh... Interesting.
I guess you like building lots of fiddly metal infantry!

-Tom.
Looking good everyone. we are up to 8, and possibly 9 with dancingmonkey expressing an interest. I have posted the map in the original post for everyone to have a look at and see where we will be fighting.
Well i want to be different. I always like using different ideas from the standard and seeing as denny is everywhere i think it is good to use different casters. As i have just started WM it will be a good learning curve.
I was looking at eGoreshade and he is pretty difficult from what I can see, but I play Zerkova, so you have no right to complaign
