The subject line says it all.
Myself, Ben and Barney (some weeks no others).
No one else has made noises yet, but you never know...
Thomas and JonLuke play regularly, too.

I have some orcs...
My gaming is simply epic.

I do keep on threatening to raid the ancestral home's attic for the epic legions there, and would use them if i did so (and sell the rest, that i know i have)
I bought a load of guard for epic over the summer, and have only played one game with them so far; I'd love to get more use out of them, although I'd need to brush up on the rules...
Hey folks

I'm coming tonight (20th Jan) and bringing 3000 pts of as yet unplayed with Valhallans. Gonna be playing Jon (dancingmonkey) in my first game and one of his first too, so it'll be a slow one!

See you there?

Hi, I have never been to the club but it is relatively close to my work.

I used to play epic a lot but that was back in the glory days of 2nd edition. I have been away for the best part of ten years now. what are you playing? is it the latest ruleset? If so is this complete? It looks like GW dropped epic to pursue more profitable endeavors and I get a feeling that a lot of units and even entire armies might not have been included before they pulled the plug. Are the latest rules that different?

Thanks

Hello,
The rules that are mainly used at the moment are 4th edition: Epic Armageddon which can be found on the GW web site Here, the main rulebook has the space marine, ork and imperial guard army lists but there are also others there.

The main development for Epic has moved to this web site Tactical Command you can find pretty much all the army lists you'd need there, you can also post to the people in charge of the lists.

I hope this helps Smile

Yes it does thankyou. How often is it played at the club? would it be ok to pop in some time and watch a game being played?

Ah missed that one. I looked on the GW site and they don't seem to sell tyranids or much in the way of chaos any more. Also where the squats? No sign of them anywhere... the cyclops ruled.

Are there official rules made for those armies? sorry to sway this thread off topic.

Thomas would it be ok for me to come and see you play a game some point in a month or so? Might convince me to pick it up again. Find yourself a new opponent.

Cheers
I play. Lots.
Am always up for a game, campaign or league.
I haven't played Epic in ages and all my stuff is in Portugal anyway, but I know some people at Central London Wargames Club play Epic frequently.

http://www.clwc.org.uk/

Might be worth contacting them if you're trying to get lots of players in London together.
I play Epic too Thomas... Smile
I haven't played since the days of "Space Marine", which is 2nd edition, methinks. However, I wouldn't mind bringing my humungous Space Marine or Eldar armies from Switzerland one of these days...
Necro-thread-mancy!

So I did end up getting back into epic at the CLWC, getting about 3, 4 games a month and loving it. Anybody want to come around for some 6mm action, talk to me or to the real chris.
My 2011 project is to paint up my Ultramarine Chapter in Epic. A game with a thunderhawk you can actually move? Yes please!
Paul is doing an epic Ork force at the moment I believe...
