Hi. I've always been interested in Inquisitor as a game, but have never found anyone who particularly wanted to play. Since you guys seem much more into a variety of games, I wondered if there was anyone who:

a) Had experience playing Inquisitor, or
b) Has never played but would be interested

I reckon this would be a cool game for Sundays afternoons at some point in the future, plus the painting/converting opportunities look awesome!

So I wanted to start a thread for the backstory of Hordes/WM. Talk to the newer players one thing hit me, they were as familiar with the story arch as player from MK2, and one thing about this game that I enjoy is the rich on going story. Unlike 40k and WFB in Hordes/WM the story progresses - and the only way to get the fluff from MK1 is to buy the old MK1 expansion (that are no longer printed).

We've got a few player that have been playing from MKI and know a good amount of the back story for all the factions. So I want to invite both old and new players to start discussing the rich story of Hordes/WM. I think especially with the campaign starting up soon this would be an especially good way of getting into a story bases campaign!

Hey guys I wanted some input on my Vayl list. I had a real clencher against Nick last session - looking at my list again I'm not to happy with it. I was using a shredder as the model I was channelling through, but found that they aren't the ideal model for that (I kill my by mistake at a critical moment ). The list was:

Vayl
Carni
Seraph
Teraph
2x Stingers
Shredder

5 Warspears
Shepherd
Forsaken

Now looking at the list I felt that I had to many lesser beasts. I like taking at least two lesser beasts, but I felt that I only needed one. Another thing is that I didn't use tenesity at all... I am also a bit skeptical on the warspears, They can take a beating but are expensive. I have also found that I like the teraph as a model for channelling through - but I lost my to a WW in the second turn, because I over extended myself. My new list is:

Vayl
Carni
Seraph
2x Teraphs
Shredder
Stinger

6 Legionnaires
2x shepherds
Forsaken

While I think this is a more solid list I still feel iffy about it. I considered dropping the forsaken - but she is a great phycological tool. I would like to max out the legionnaires, but at the expenses of what? I like having the option of using bushwack, but is it that important... Any thoughs anyone?

Well thanks to A_bombs Cryx army facing me, I am now starting a small Cryx force myself.

Oli has been kind enough to help me' put together a force, now I want to start painting them.

I have a colour scheme of dirty grey/brown for clothing with a rustic copper colour for metals in my mind, but for flesh/skulls etc, I want to try and get a 'glowy/spectral look going.

I was thinking of a White basecoat and using inks/washes to achieve this, and will try it out, but was wondering if anyone had any tips here?

Any help appreciated guys!
